Happy February. The snow is so beautiful outside my studio window, making it a perfect time to cozy up in a warm alpaca or silk shawl by the fire. For those of you in a warmer climate, a cooler bamboo shawl might be a better choice. I have some new shawls in both types for your wearing pleasure. I just have two left in the brown autumn shades, which you can find under shawls in the V13 section.
Both of these will be warm and cozy. The V10 shawls are the darker shades of navy, purple, spruce, burgundy and eggplant--beautiful shawls in a variety of sizes and fibers, including the warm luxury of alpaca and silk and the cooler bamboo for stunning style. With VALENTINE'S DAY coming, you might be thinking about the beauty of reds. The V11 lacey shawls combine various shades of red in different fibers with the base of red tencel warp. These are just a lovely way to feel great for the holiday or any time. All these shawls are great gifts for yourself or a friend because they are not only lovely, but have all been washed and are easy to care for at home.
Calling is the best way to order, and it can usually be out in a day or two, sent by priority mail. 218-244-6353 will speed your gift on its way.
Other shawls have been updated now, and I hope you'll take a look at them. They will mostly be near the top of the shawl page, but I also added a lot more fire shawls that will be in T14. You can find a nice variety of shawls in the hues of Minnesota lakes with the V9 group and even more lacey shawls in natural tencel with bamboo or silk in V6.
The hand on these is magnificent--soft and silky--and many shimmer in the light, making them look different as you change angles. As always, I have washed each one after weaving, so they are washable, usable and just add beauty to your ensemble.
I sell at shows, over the internet and through phone orders. The best way to find out if a product is still available is to call or email me.
